Hey there. Isn't it kind of magical how in one week's time we get two major holidays? It was JUST Christmas and now it's about to be freaking 2015. Damn. I guess I could talk about this adorably comfy and cute outfit but I think I'll take this opportunity to reflect a little on what 2014 was like for me...

This year was amazing, it was fun, it was crazy in more ways than I could have ever imagined, it was up, it was down. It was so many things wonderful and terrible all at the same time. This was the best and worst year of my life. And the worst parts have only made me better. I've become so much more self aware. At 26 I'm finally starting to get to know myself. Isn't that weird? How you can be alive for a pretty long time, considering the span of one's life, and not really know who you are... and not even realize it? This year was absolutely one for a lot of self discovery and it's been extremely enlightening. I can't wait to see where 2015 will take me if I keep this up. And I hope to gallivant around here on this blog a little more as well. Here's to 2015, y'all! Bring it on. I'm ready.

Succulents

Happy Monday! It's been a while since I've posted some outfit photos around here. Sorry bout that. Well, now that that's out of the way, I went and bought some succulents the other day. My very first set of plants I've ever had I think. I'm not very domestic but I hear succulents are the lazy persons plant so that's kinda perfect. As long as I don't kill them in the first couple weeks I'll be happy.

Weekend Review: Fun Fun Fun Fest

Oh, Fun Fun Fun Fest, how I love you. Yet again this festival has proven to be my favorite. The food, the crowd, the lineup, the venue, the fashion. All so much better than any other music festival I've ever been to. Best. Weekend. Ever. And can we talk about these beautiful over-the-knee boots from Duo Boots?! I'm obsessed. They fit like a glove and are so comfortable. Perfect festival footwear.

The Leopard Wall

Happy Monday! I hope you had a fun Halloween and a great weekend. I sure did. Here is my final look I styled for Minnetonka Moccasin. These are probably my favorite pair of the three mainly because they are super versatile and outrageously comfy. And how cool is this mural?! I had a little too much fun shooting these photos I was so excited about it. There are so many gems like this one all around Austin. Love it.

Canadian Tux

Happy Halloween, y'all! I decided to dress up as a Canadian this year. Just kidding, that was actually last year ;) But for realz, this is the 2nd look from my blogger spotlight with Minnetonka Moccasin. Denim on denim has been one of my fave trends for quite some time now. And of course I chose my favorite trend of all time for the second pair of mocs I picked out. Leopard print or as I like to call it, my neutral. I love the look of denim and leopard together. It's just cool.

ACL Music Festival Style Inspo

It's almost time for ACL... So of course my outfits are already planned and this is pretty similar to what I'll be wearing on Saturday. It's going to be in the 70s! Hi! How was your weekend? As you may know I spent mine volunteering/attending the Texas Style Council conference. I had a great time and met some really cool bloggers. Most exciting were all the Austin bloggers I got to meet. Didn't realize there were so many great bloggers in this city! I gained such invaluable information from so many really amazing speakers and left feeling super inspired to continue to make my blog the best it can be. Big props to Indiana and the rest of the staff for putting on an amazing weekend. You guys are rock stars.

This is what I wore Saturday. What better time to wear overalls then at a style conference! Overall the weekend was a huge success. Wow, sorry, that was corny...
