This overall dress I bought in West, TX about a month ago... It's basically the best. When a vintage piece fits me this well I just can't help but get extremely excited. This little number is vintage Gap (from the 1970s). I actually picked it out with the intention of selling it in my shop but I accidentally decided to try it on. Needless to say, I won't be selling this beauty any time soon. And the tag is amazing (this is what it looks like). I don't know why Gap ever decided to change their tags to anything else. The more I go out thrifting for vintage the more of a vintage tag nerd I become. Vintage tags are so much more beautiful than modern day ones. I don't know what it is. In general, I find that the craftsmanship on vintage clothing is just so much more thoughtful. Sorry for sounding like a vintage snob... Let's move on, shall we?

Two other special things about this outfit are the jewelry pieces I got from some friends in Italy. The necklace has a vintage pendant and is handcrafted together by my friend Gina. I will have a few of these available at my pop-up next month in various different designs. The earrings are by a friend of a friend in Italy as well who also makes all her jewelry by hand. I will be selling a lot of Piuma's pieces at my event next month too. So, you should come if you're in Austin! Find out more info about when and where right here.
