It's that skirt again. You may have seen it already in this recent post. What can I say? I know what I can say. I wear this skirt a lot because it's fabulous and I really love to wear it. So I will continue to keep wearing it. A lot. You may even seen it again soon. Hope that's cool. OK, have we I talked about the skirt enough? I think yes. I'll leave you with that. Go back to whatever it was you were doing. Or stop whatever it was you were doing and go buy a skirt like this because you will love it. I promise.

Hey guys! Sorry I've been pretty absent and no new outfits lately, but I've been a busy girl these days with work. I'm also getting ready to move to a new place in a couple weeks, so I've been preparing for that too. Anyway, how almost identical are these Chelsea ankle boots by Acne and Zara? I'm pretty sold on the Zara pair, they were all over the fall lookbook and the height of the heel is perfection. Wish I could afford the Acne pair. Acne is one of my favorite brands, but I kind of love the Zara style better. Done and done. Happy Tuesday!

Barefoot on a summer night

I had so much fun visiting my family last night. My Aunt, Uncle and 2 cousins just moved back to Austin from Louisiana a few months ago. We hung out on Lake Austin and played on the playground. I felt like a kid again. It's so comforting to have a little bit of family here in Austin. Summer night's like this remind me of how lucky I am. I'm so grateful for moments like this... And how adorable is my little cousin in her tutu?! I wish I could rock one of those as well as she does! 

Thanks to my Uncle Mike for taking these shots. He's been taking photos of the family for years. Every portrait of every grandchild in my grandparents house was taken by Mike. And there were A LOT of them. I'm one of over 30 grandkids!

Life Lately...

Finally went and checked out Mt. Bonnell a couple weeks ago. If you ever visit Austin this is a great spot to stop by for a beautiful sunset overlooking the lake.

We both ordered these glasses from the Bonlook booth at the TxSC Prom night. Can't wait to get mine in the mail. I was in desperate need of new glasses!

Mermaid Blue

When I won these Vince Camuto heels from Shea Marie and the sweet people over at Rank & Style I thought they were going to be a dark cobalt or deep purple color. As you can see they are anything but dark or deep, haha! I proceeded to Google this exact style and the color is in fact called 'Mermaid Blue.' I normally wouldn't buy such a bright shoe, but ever since they arrived I find myself constantly grabbing for them. Who would've thought?? With this particular outfit I decided to go with two different shades of the same color, which I love doing because it's so unexpected. And this floral blazer from Sabo Skirt goes with these two blue hues almost too perfectly, don't you think?!

P.S. I know it seems like every blogger has this Zara skort in white, but I love the cobalt blue one so much more. I don't have to worry about getting it dirty (let's be honest, I'm kind of a mess) and this color is pretty much my favorite right now.

My go to. Black and white stripes. I mentioned this outfit in my post on Tuesday and am so excited to be able to show you now! I won't lie I've worn a combo of this look at least 6 or 7 times and I'm not ashamed to admit it. The top is super comfy and leather has been my staple as of late, so of course I have it on repeat. I added some red lipstick and fun jewelry to make everything really pop. That's most important to me when styling up a black and white look. Those little details make it extra special. Pointy + Leopard

Wore this to a meeting earlier this week. Loving my new leopard purse and pointy heels. The height of the heel is perfect. Not too low or high... they're just right.
