Happy Halloween, y'all! I decided to dress up as a Canadian this year. Just kidding, that was actually last year ;) But for realz, this is the 2nd look from my blogger spotlight with Minnetonka Moccasin. Denim on denim has been one of my fave trends for quite some time now. And of course I chose my favorite trend of all time for the second pair of mocs I picked out. Leopard print or as I like to call it, my neutral. I love the look of denim and leopard together. It's just cool.

Weekend Review: In the Country

Hi! How was your weekend? I went out to Cajun Country aka South Louisiana for a good friends baby shower. I stayed at my cousin's house. It's really beautiful out there. Living in the city I forget how peaceful and calm life can be :)

Got some big stuff coming up this week. I'll be back with some outfit posts (finally) for a feature I'm doing with one of my favorite companies. Stay tuned!

Almost Halloween: My Costume

Y'all. Halloween is TWO weeks away. My most favorite holiday is almost here and this year is extra special to me... I'm finally going to dress up as Penny Lane from Almost Famous! By far my favorite movie character of all time, from my favorite movie of all time. I've wanted to do this for years and I'm so glad I've decided to follow through and actually do it this time around. How great is that coat?! SO excited. What are you going to be this year??

How I'm Spending My Weekend: Chillin'

It's Friday again! I don't know about you, but this week seemed to go by pretty fast for me. And trust, I'm not complaining. This weekend I'll be going to a STRFKR show Friday night, watching some LSU football Saturday and heading to Dallas to visit my mom Sunday (and also more football watching... Geaux Saints!). Overall a pretty chill weekend with mornings spent dreaming that I'm in a bed like this one. Although I have to admit my bed is not too shabby, so I'd say it's a pretty fair trade-off. But SRSLY where can I find this cable knit blanket?! What are your plans this weekend?

Weekend Review: ACL Music Festival

My voice is gone, my feet (and liver, and ears, and my entire body) hate me, and I'm completely exhausted. All of this = one successful ACL weekend. I had a blast. Go to this festival if you haven't. You won't regret it! I'm already working on getting tickets for second weekend so I can see all the shows I had to miss since the lineup is so amazing. Top 5 sets from weekend one: Vampire Weekend, Local Natives, Grouplove, Haim, Phoenix.

ACL Music Festival Style Inspo

It's almost time for ACL... So of course my outfits are already planned and this is pretty similar to what I'll be wearing on Saturday. It's going to be in the 70s! That's some perfect weather if you ask me. Especially for Texas. Meaning I'll be able to wear pants and a light jacket (gasp)... At least earlier and later in the day.
